Humanitarian and Compassionate Application

Anyone not normally eligible to become permanent residents of Canada may be able to apply on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. These circumstances are really a case-by-case situation and a lot of different factors are looked at such as the best interest of the child, ties to Canada, how settled the person is in Canada, what would happen if the person was to return back to their home country and more. This is a specific situation that must be looked at carefully to determine if a humanitarian and compassionate application can be made.
